Apart from the obvious advantages of being rust-free as a result of the climate, most of our cars have been in the same ownership for many years, if not since new.
This, coupled with the fact that these vehicles are not subjected to anything like the stresses of European roads (there are no roundabouts, virtually no 'bends' and the speed limit, raised only recently from 55 to 70 mph on freeways, is so rigorously policed) means that these cars tend to remain in original and intact condition.
Our Californian colleagues keep us fully informed of all developments from the moment a Porsche owner contacts them with a view to selling, from first inspection / road test of the vehicle in question to (usually after long and protracted negotiation) the actual sale being agreed, prior to shipment to the UK.
Over the years, these arrangements have enabled us to supply countless one or two owner from new vehicles.
